Here are 5 tips keep you keep you focused on your time management while at home:

Create a plan of what needs to get done beforehand . Sunday evening is a great time for weekly planing. I make a list of the top things that need to get done, and plan on which day I can fit it in'chores around the house are included in this also.

Take your daily activities and rank them. Get the meat and potatoes out of the way early on. No matter how you try to limit your distractions, things come up. You have more energy first thing in the morning, so get those done right away.

Set up specific e-mail time. Leaving your email open while working is distracting.. your current task. Schedule "email hour" and plow through it then.

Multi-tasking can be good. If you have a training or some personal development to listen to, or if you are on the phone talking to prospects, this is a good opportunity to get some laundry folded or other no brainer household activity accomplished!

Don't go too far in the other direction either. Some people feel guilty if they are home and they are not working. This is common as well since there is no separation of location. Make sure you give yourself time off to relax and enjoy the benefits of working from home.
